Lincoln visiting Grant
Le président Lincoln visite le général Grant.
Le 3 avril 1865, Lincoln rencontre Grant. Après quatre ans de difficultés et de sacrifice, les deux hommes sont pès de la victoire définitive. Bientôt la guerre sera finie. L'Union est sauvée mais la victoire est chèrement acquise: 618 000 morts.

On April 3, 1865 at Petersburg, Lincoln meets Grant. After four years of difficulties and sacrifice, the two men are near the final victory. Soon the war will be over. The Union is saved but the cost is high : 618 000 dead.
